“I AM”

There are many it seems who have many things to declare about the Son of Man and the Son of God. There are more still who feel it necessary to speak in some way for Him; to defend Him, explain Him or otherwise legitimize Him. Strange isn’t it, when He asserted all that He was when He came to the earth; when He declared to all who had ears to hear that He was the Great “I AM”. Should not, therefore,  His self-declaration be sufficient for us? Indeed. For He alone is the perfect fullness and fulfillment sent down among us by the Eternal Father.

So I thought it might be necessary here brethren to let Him speak for Himself for a change…

  1. Dear W.E.,

God has made a most wondrous testimony about Himself all through scripture. This page on the great “I AM” is just a small taste of His witness to the world.

Thank you for sharing as much as possible the inexpressible things regarding the LORD Almighty. As one of your posts stated, it is actually impossible to wholly express the awesomeness of God. But, as far as I can ascertain so far, you’re coming about as close as is humanly possible.

Just think of what we’ll be able to say when we finally reach our heavenly home and our tongues are unloosed. The mere thought cannot be expressed.

And yet, there is a necessity to try and express the love of Christ to anyone who might just stop and listen for a moment. Behind it all, God is leading and we’ll never be able to figure that one out either. All we can know is that there is a most faithful and patient love that continually urges us to remain in Christ Jesus, our LORD, who knows all things.
